La Administración de @potus Biden no habrÃa sido elegida sin el apoyo de las comunidades Latinx a través de todo el paÃs. Es hora de presionar a esta administración y exigir acciones directas a las promesas que hicieron a nuestras comunidades antes de ser elegidos. Hola,
Many folks have helped shape Connecticut Familia. Pero es importante saber, that CTFamilia would not have been possible without the direct leadership of Jorge Gutiérrez. I first met Jorge in 2019 during Familia’s National Encuentro Conference in Philadelphia.
That weekend changed me. Both because I realized my mission in life and because I would find the people I would fight with brazo a brazo to achieve the goals of Trans Queer Liberation everywhere. With Jorge’s vision, National Encuentro gave me something no other organization could, AFIRMACIÓN.
Since that time, it has been the fundamental drive of my life, and now my work in CTFamilia, to create and build up more spaces where beautiful Latinx Jotas can find the intersectional afirmación we all need to reach Trans Queer Liberation together.
CTFamilia celebrates and honors Jorge’s work. And we eagerly look forward to supporting and cheering on his next path so we can continue to build pa'lante into the future.
